Friday, September 11, 2026 - Last year, a mother pleaded for justice on social media after James Ikonya, who served as a senior doctor at Maralal County Referral Hospital, preyed on her 15-year-old daughter and bribed police for cover.

After pursuing justice relentlessly, Ikonya was arrested and charged in court.

Justice has finally been served after he was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Ikonya was reportedly dating the girl’s mother and preyed on the innocent girl when the mother left her in his care.
