Monday, October 26, 2026 - Reports are emerging from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) concerning two female students who were allegedly expelled over claims that they infected 20 students with ‘homa kubwa’.

The students, identified as Shamilla Amanda and Sharon Muriithi, are alleged to have knowingly infected the other students, leading to claims that they were expelled from the institution.
