A driver fired after he was secretly recorded siphoning fuel from his boss’s Prado and selling it - This trending video cost him his job (WATCH)

Thursday, July 23, 2026- A driver has reportedly lost his job after a video showing him siphoning fuel from his employer's Toyota Prado and selling it to unscrupulous traders surfaced online.

In the now-viral clip, the vehicle is seen parked in a secluded area as a group of men siphons fuel from the tank into containers.

The driver is seen standing nearby as the fuel is siphoned, seemingly unaware that someone was secretly recording him.

The video quickly gained traction on social media, with claims that it eventually led to the driver's dismissal.

One social media user, who claimed to know the driver personally, wrote: “Sadly, this video cost the guy his job. It's a guy I know personally from where I work.”

While some social media users sympathized with the driver over losing his source of livelihood, others argued that dismissal was justified, saying theft is a serious breach of trust.
