The operation was conducted
in Kiminini Sub-County, with security officers raiding Waigama, Langas,
Mabonde, and Maliki villages in Waitaluk Location.
During the crackdown,
officers recovered several crude weapons and destroyed thousands of litres of
illicit alcohol believed to have been manufactured and distributed illegally in
the area.

and taken into police custody, where they are being processed ahead of their
arraignment in court.
Police said the recovered
illicit brews and crude weapons have been secured as exhibits to support
ongoing investigations and prosecution.
The National Police Service
(NPS) said the operation forms part of a sustained nationwide campaign aimed at
eliminating illicit alcohol, combating drug trafficking, and dismantling
criminal gangs that threaten public safety.
